WILLIAM R. WOHLSIFER, ESQ.
William R. Wohlsifer is the founding member of Wohlsifer & Associates, P.A.  His law practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, real estate, condominium law, business structuring and capitalization, entertainment law, intellectual property licensing, copyright and trademark law.  Additionally, for the past decade, Mr. Wohlsifer has acted and continues to act as outside litigation counsel for NASCAR, having served as lead attorney in more than 50 actions regarding licensing agreement disputes.  In 1998 Mr. Wohlsifer founded Cyberight Corporation, an online service that authenticated and archived content published on the Internet for use in litigation. 

His publications include Proving Publication in Cyberspace, E-Commerce Law, Aspen Publishers, Inc. (October 2001), republished as the featured article in The Florida Bar Business Law Section Quarterly Review (Fall 2002).   A printed interview titled Visionary - William Wohlsifer ‘96 - Cyberight, appeared in The Lawyer (Fall 2000).  An article titled Plaintiff Says Condo Board Mismanaged Hurricane Repairs, Squandered Insurance, discussed Mr. Wohlsifer’s class action representation in a $52M law suit on behalf of similarly situated condominium owners, and received national coverage in the Catastrophic Loss & Liability Update, HarrisMartin Publishing (March 2006).  Mr. Wohlsifer’s representation in a shareholder’s derivative action among the members of Atlantic Records recording artists, The Spinners, received national coverage in print media and on CourtTV and CNN.

William R. Wohlsifer received his B.A. from the University of Central Florida in 1991 and J.D., Cum Laude, from the St. Thomas University School of Law in 1996.  He was admitted to The Florida Bar in 1996, the U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida in 1997, the District of Columbia Bar in 1999, the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Michigan in 1999, and the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Florida in 2002.  Mr. Wohlsifer is certified by the Florida Supreme Court as a Circuit Civil Mediator, a Florida Supreme Court Qualified Arbitrator, and also as a Mediator for statutorily mandated homeowners’ association disputes.  He is a member of the Florida Academy of Professional Mediators, the Palm Beach County Bar, and the Florida Board of Realtors.  To further his mediation training, Mr. Wohlsifer was trained in Collaborative Practice by Janet P. Brumley, in Dallas, Texas, and has studied transformative mediation, mindful mediation and other mediation practice skills written by authors such as Leonard Riskin and William Ury.
